About Us
Automotorsport Federation of the Republic of Kazakhstan – AFRK was established in May of 1992 based on common interests and wishes of our country’s sportsmen. In the same year, the Federation was accepted as a member of International Automobile Federation (FIA) and International Motorcycle Federation (FIM).
MAIN PURPOSES AND OBJECTIVES OF THE FEDERATION
- • development and propaganda of the automobile and motorcycle sport;
- • social protection of sportsmen, trainers, judges and veterans;
- • training and certification of sportsmen and trainers, development and issue of appropriate teaching documentations;
- • cooperation with national and foreign manufacturers of automobile and motorcycle machinery for the purposes of its improvement and advertising;
- • development of international sports relations;
- • interaction with governmental and public institutions for the purpose of the automobile and motorcycle sport development;
- • support and assistance in development of the auto and motor tourism;
- • representation of the automobile and motorcycle sport at republican and international sports events;
- • management of the national automotorsport via regional associations;
- • organization and holding of Kazakhstan championships and other competitions pursuant to the approved plan of the Federation.

OUR EVENTS
The calendar plan of sports events includes annually more than 50 competitions of: automobile and motorcycle cross, classical rally, rally sprint, rally raid, speed figure driving, auto slalom, drifting, carting, trophy raid, jeep sprint, automobile tracking races.
In 2014 – 2016, AFRK was granted with the right to be Organizer of one stage of the World Cup for ice motorcycle races (Ice Speedway). The stage was held in Almaty city on ice of the “Medeu” High-Mountain Complex. Also, the Federation is Organizer of Kazakhstan rally raid "Rally Kazakhstan" carried out in the territory of Mangystau region, which is an applicant for a stage of the World Cup for such discipline of the automobile sport.
